What is ordonanță președințială?
Under art. 997–1001 NCPC, a presidential order provides urgent provisional measures without examining the merits. Three cumulative conditions: urgency, provisional nature, non-prejudging of merits. The ruling is immediately enforceable; appeal within 5 days. Court fee: 100 RON for non-monetary claims. Common uses: temporary child residence, anti-competition injunctions, urgent eviction. Not to be confused with precautionary seizure.
