Reasoning of Romanian court judgments
Under art. 425 NCPC, every judgment must include: the practicaua (identifying information), considerentele (reasoning: facts, evidence analysis, legal basis, response to parties' arguments), and dispozitivul (operative part). Absent or contradictory reasoning is a ground for recurs (art. 488 para. 1 point 6 NCPC): see recurs grounds guide. The reasoned judgment is drafted and communicated separately from pronouncement, often months later. The appeal deadline runs from communication of the reasoned judgment.
