Communication of judgment in Romania

The court registry communicates the written judgment by registered post (art. 154 NCPC). Communication date = date of signature on delivery receipt. There is no legal deadline for drafting — in practice 1 month to over a year. If not received, check portal.just.ro and contact the registry. Communication to a wrong address is void — appeal deadline has not started. This may ground a contestație în anulare.
