Appeal deadline calculation in Romania
Under art. 468 para. 1 NCPC, the appeal deadline is 30 days from communication of the written judgment — not from pronouncement. Day of communication = day zero; 30th day is counted. If the 30th day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline extends to the next working day (art. 181–182 NCPC). Use the procedural terms calculator. Late appeals are rejected (art. 185 NCPC).
