Methods to check case status
A court case status can be checked through two main methods:
- Portal.just.ro: the official CSM source. Enter the case number in standard format and you will see hearings, rulings, parties and appeals.
- StatusDosar.ro: a platform that retrieves data from portal.just.ro and delivers it by email.
Case number format
A court case number has the format XXXX/YYY/YYYY, where:
- XXXX: sequential number assigned by the court
- YYY: court code (e.g. 300 = Bucharest Tribunal)
- YYYY: year of registration
