Summons in Romanian civil procedure

Under art. 153–173 NCPC, the summons must reach you at least 5 days before the hearing. Forms: registered post, court agent, public display, email/fax (with consent). If summoned but absent, the case proceeds without you. Appearance cures any summoning defects. If not properly summoned and absent, the resulting judgment may be challenged by contestație în anulare.
